Motif Studio and Motif Classic
Motif Studio is the current Motif experience described throughout this Help Center. Motif Classic refers only to the earlier Motif iOS and macOS Photos extensions.
Which experience should I use?
Use Motif Studio for the steps in this Help Center and for new projects. Use Motif Classic only when you intentionally switch to the earlier Photos-extension experience.
Switch to Motif Classic
In the native Motif Studio app, the account menu may show Switch to Motif Classic when the older experience is available on that device.
- Open the account menu from your avatar.
- Choose Switch to Motif Classic.
- Follow the on-screen transition.
If the menu item is absent, switching is not available in the current app or device. The web version does not show this option.
Get help for the right experience
The steps in this Help Center are for Motif Studio. Buttons and workflows in Motif Classic can differ. If the screen you see does not match an article, check whether the account menu identifies an option to switch experiences, or choose Contact Support from the account menu.
